I'd like Buffett to live forever as well, but the reality is that the actuarial tables are what they are. I don't see a point in a baseline assumption that he lives to 110, and to make the question unambiguous, the title is "Voting Control in 2050". There is no way Buffett could take offense to the question, and if he does, that would be a bad sign for shareholders.

Agree completely w/ Ur take on China. They have made another „bet“ imho that reducing their Taiwan exposure Lowe’s the KLUMPENRISIKO BH shareholders have should 🇨🇳 🇹🇼 issues heat up beyond „showboat“ exercises by 🇨🇳

However, BH shareholders remain nonetheless at extreme risk in the event of ongoing dispute which will indeed occur short of all our war. Having this risk along w/ the extraordinary weighted risk BH has already in Apple is putting a new definition on „placing all your eggs in one basket“. Indirectly, Xi has influence over US by making Apples 🇨🇳 business difficult. Expect him to use it. Warren & Charlie made a mistake on Apple in allowing their returns to trump the risk.
