I agree with the points you made about TikTok and the loss of the ability to concentrate for long periods of time. Unfortunately, watching TikTok or Reels doesn't require any training or the development of any mental abilities. While on the other hand developing the ability to fully concentrate on something, and achieve desired results, has to be cultivated and developed to a level of mastery. Then to
maintain that mastery requires continuous repetition, which leads to even higher levels of mastery. This type of thinking allows one to reach higher and higher levels of mental development, however, we appear to be headed in the opposite direction.
