Agree, suppose it has to be that way ie to tame inflation people will have to lose jobs as Powell said, but the powers that be should not act like the victim when the understandable backlash and skepticism arrives!

I don't think the Fed even cares about optics. After all, they are totally unaccountable to the American people.
