I am also almost finished reading Sam Walton’s autobiography (it is crazy that I have not read this before) and plan on a book review - most likely that one will be for all subscribers.
A substack online magazine perhaps? Along the lines of "The New York Review of Book" Substack's revenue will be primarily high brow advertising. Great writers in their stable are well compensated by articles included in each issue. The readers subscribe to the magazine as per usual. This may solve the current plethora of subscriptions fatigue we all now experience.
